Sam Molot-Toker

Sam Molot-Toker

PGY-3, Resident

Sam is a neurosurgery resident born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. He moved to Montreal to complete a bachelor's degree in physiology at McGill University, and then returned home to complete a master's degree in neuroscience at McMaster University. His thesis research focused on neural development and plasticity in the rat brainstem, and he was awarded the Ontario Graduate Scholarship for his work. During medical school at the University of Saskatchewan, he undertook several leadership roles and tailored his experiences to help develop his growing passion for neurosurgery. As a new resident, his interests remain very broad, but he's excited to dive into the field and find his niche. In his spare time - and pandemic permitting - Sam enjoys cooking with friends, travelling to explore new cultures and cuisines, and cycling.
