
Anton Fomenko
PGY-6, Resident
Dr. Anton Fomenko is a 6th year neurosurgery resident at the University of Manitoba. Originally from Estonia, he grew up in Quebec and Ontario, and received his Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University and his MD from Dalhousie University. He has an interest in non-invasive neuromodulation, deep brain stimulation, functional and epilepsy neurosurgery, and neuroethics. When he is not in the hospital, he enjoys mountain and road cycling, bouldering, and calisthenics. Recently, Dr. Fomenko has pursued graduate studies at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Andres Lozano.
